Crock Pot Potato Soup w/Drop Dumplings

OK.  So.  My grandma makes the best homemade potato soup in the history of the world.  Seriously, Panera has nothing on that old lady.  She spends half the year in California though, so that means I would have to wait until NEXT May, at least, to enjoy a bowl.

Mexican Meatloaf...

So, a few nights ago, we were trying to decide on what to make for dinner.  Half of us wanted tacos, the other half meatloaf.

What was compromised ended up being a beautiful marriage of both that turned out far better than imagined.

Meal Plan / Grocery List 10-21/10-27

Alright.  Gonna start doing this on here, I think.  Here is our meal plan and my grocery list for the week of 10-21/10-27.  Basically, I take recipes I find on Pinterest and make them easier.  I work full time, I don't have time to make shit from scratch.  Live with it.  I also just realized we are gonna be eating a lot of hamburger that week.  Ooh well.  I got 3 kids that like different things on different days and I tried to stick with things I know they will eat.  

I will also be taking pictures and posting them, especially for my steak and black bean chili recipe for that Saturday.  We are having friends over that evening.  Gonna get the fire pit going and I'm making the hot dogs and chili.  Everyone else is bring a dish.  Looking forward to that.  Not looking forward to the 39 degree weather predicted for that evening, but, gotta take the good with the bad, I suppose.

Anyway.  Here ya go...

Slowly but surely getting this how I want it.  Heading to bed now though.  Gotta work at another office tomorrow allllll day.  Then back at mine on Friday and Saturday.  Then, TWO DAYS OFF IN A ROW!!!!  Work one day AND THEN OFF ANOTHER!!!  I won't know what to do with myself!!  wOOt
